Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro release date, specs rumors, news: Geekbench listings reveal 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 625 chipset
When Samsung Galaxy C7 was launched back in May, people have been amazed at the beauty of its 5.7-inch display offerings and the massive hardware it came along with. With 4GB random-access memory (RAM), being more than its modest offering at that time, and armed with a competitive 16-megapixel (MP) rear camera, it was only a matter of time when the device finally goes on high.
And so, Samsung is now ensuring that the device gets its proper marketing as it plans to release yet another variant of the killer smartphone to the tune of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro whose listings have recently been spotted via the benchmarking website, Geekbench.
Accordingly, Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset along with an octa-core central processing unit (CPU) that is clocked at 2.21GHZ. Furthermore, the forthcoming iteration is also shown to be sporting 4GB RAM and will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Meanwhile, the benchmarking test of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has revealed that the smartphone has scored 1,000 on the single-core test and 5,679 on the multicore test.
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with model number SM-C7010 has also appeared on India's Zauba import-export website. The listing has revealed that the device will be encased in a 5.7-inch with 1,080 x 1,920 resolution. The phone will also come with 3,000-milliampere-hour (mAh) battery and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. It has also shown that the next variant will be priced at an estimated $199. However, the price may still change once it finally gets launched.
Phone Arena has also pegged the upcoming entry to be of the same caliber as its predecessor — 6.7mm thin. The Pro version is likewise tipped to come with near-filed communication (NFC) and a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button.
Apart from Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, another sibling has also taken some of the most visited rumor mills. The Zauba listing has shared that Samsung may also be producing Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro.
