Samsung is rumored to release a new smartphone soon and it's dubbed the Galaxy C9. Many are expecting it as it has already received FCC certification and has been on benchmarking sites.

Reports also reveal that the device has been seen in Zauba, which is an import and export tracking site in India. Coming with the model number SM-C9000, the purported Galaxy C9 is said to sport a 6-inch full HD AMOLED display with 920 x 1,080 pixels and 367 PPI. It will also reportedly be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM.

Moreover, it's said to come with eight ARM Cortex-A53 application processors running at 2.0 GHz. It will possibly be equipped with Adreno 506 GPU. The device is also rumored to carry dual 16-megapixel rear cameras and 16-megapixel front camera. However, there are reports saying that the Snapdragon 652 can only support a 13-megapixel front camera.

Reports also suggest that the device will be coming with 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded further to 256 GB. It's also said to be pre-installed with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Powering it up and giving it light is a 4,000mAh battery.

The device is also said to be similar to the recently released Galaxy C5, which is only available in the Chinese market. The Galaxy C5 is packed with 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It's equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor under the hood and also runs on the Android Marshmallow.

There is no word yet on when the Galaxy C9 may be released but it's predicted to be out in the Chinese market by the end of October. It's also rumored to hit the Indian market by the end of the year. The estimated price for the device is around $420.

As of now, nothing has been confirmed so it's best to take these reports with a pinch of salt.
