Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Europe release date news: Samsung to delay release of phablet in other markets?

The latest entry from Samsung to the high-end smartphone market, the Galaxy Note 7, has been making a lot of buzz for quite some time now. Following its launching in some market, there are growing concerns that the release of the highly anticipated device might get delayed in some other countries. One of the markets that are expected to get affected by the delay is Europe.

According to Yonhap News, the South Korean tech giant has temporarily delayed the latest batch of shipment of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as the quality control team of the company conducts more product testing.

The additional quality control testing is said to have been ordered by company executives following several reports of the smartphone exploding while being charged.

"The stoppage of Galaxy Note 7 deliveries to the three mobile carriers -- SK Telecom Co., KT Corp. and LG Uplus Corp. -- began earlier this week, according to officials at the mobile carriers," according to the report.

As of the moment, Samsung has not provided any specific statement with regard to the issue.

"We are checking whether the deliveries were halted or not," according to a representative from the company.

Meanwhile, According to PC Advisor, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available in U.K. on Sept. 2 with a price tag of £749. According to the publication, Samsung has started the Galaxy Note 7 preorder promo last Aug 16. Interested buyers who have preordered the new handset before Aug. 28 will get a free brand new Samsung Gear VR Headset.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 runs on a powerful Octa-core processor with a speed of 2.3GHz. The chipset is paired with 4 GB of RAM and a 3500 non-removable battery. The new device also has a screen size of 5.7 inches packed with Quad-HD SuperAMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5.
