Samsung has recently announced the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 7. The announcement was made in New York and it quickly garnered mixed response from tech observers.
One of the reviews came from CNET, which perfectly defined the new hybrid phablet.
"What do you get when you take the curved-screen Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and add a stylus? The Galaxy Note 7, which Samsung unveiled today in New York. Even with its differences, the Note 7's wraparound screens, 12-megapixel camera, expandable storage and water-resistant coating bring it closer to the S7 series than to last year's Note 5 (that's right, there's no Note 6). And that's a good thing."
The new handset has certainly become a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the internet for the past few months. With its announcement, fans will certainly have something to get excited about because the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is highly regarded as one of the most powerful handsets that have ever been released.
According to the report there are several features on the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 that were not present on the previous model such as the curved screen and the USB Type-C port. It also has a better security feature with the iris scanner and the Gorilla Glass 5. The Galaxy Note 7 is said to be the first smartphone to ever use the new screen technology.
Other advantages of the new Galaxy Note 7 is its water resistant system on both the body and S-Pen, microSD card slot for added storage capacity, larger battery at 3,500 mAh compared to 3,000 mAh of the Galaxy Note 5 and the smartphone has better camera technology.
