Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 release date, specs news 2016: Smartphone spotted on FCC; several specs revealed
The Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 has already surfaced on the Chinese regulatory board TENAA earlier this month. It caught the attention of several tech fans who were able to catch a glimpse of the device's specifications. According to the latest reports, the upcoming smartphone came out again, this time on the U.S. regulatory agency, the Federal Communications Commission or FCC.
The device, which has a model number of SM-G610F, has already been certified by the FCC. This could mean that the device might hit the market anytime soon.
On the FCC website, it reveals several details of the upcoming device including its 3300 mAh battery, which is the same information that came out on TENAA a couple of weeks ago.
The device is said to come at 151.5 x 74.9 x 8 mm or 5.96 x 2.95 x 0.31 inches in size. Other features will include a 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
FCC and TENAA websites did not reveal much about the device. However, several tech observers have already shared their predictions on what the device will bring to the table once it becomes commercially available. Rumor has it that Samsung Galaxy On7 2016 will carry a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolutions. It is said to run on an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with a speed of 2 GHz. The powerful processor will be paired with 3 GB of RAM, along with the Adreno 506 GPU.
The Samsung Android device first came out in 2015. According to reports, the device has done pretty well in the market, which likely prompted Samsung to release another model this year.
Meanwhile, Timesnews reported that the device would most likely arrive with a preinstalled Android Nougat. However, Samsung has yet to confirm these reports. The company should release an official statement anytime soon.
