When Samsung released the Galaxy S7 earlier this year, it immediately captured the interest of so many people around the world. It became an instant hit from the get go that fans already started talking about its successor, the Samsung Galaxy S8, a few weeks from its launching. According to the latest reports, new leaked details have emerged about the upcoming Galaxy S8 revealing some of it features and a codename.

The reports suggest that Samsung has an internal codename for S8 called Project Dream. However, the company has yet to reveal significant information with regard to the new generation Galaxy S model.

For now, Samsung's focus is on the upcoming release of the Galaxy Note 7, which is expected to get launched next month. The hybrid device is said to challenge the forthcoming Apple iPhone 7, which is also rumored to come out in September.

Meanwhile, in a report by Wccftech, the alleged revelation of the Galaxy S8's codename will allow industry experts to get more details on the development and shipments of the new Samsung smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will not hit market until 2017; however, rumors and speculations about the device are rampant as if its launching will happen this year. Fans and critics have already started to share their predictions with regard to the device's specs and features.

There are speculations suggesting that the new smartphone will feature a 4K display technology. It is also expected to carry a Bio Blue OLED display, which has been recently revealed by the company. The handset is also expected to run on Snapdragon 830 processor from Qualcomm.

The American multinational semiconductor and telecommunications company has recently unveiled their new generation processor, the Snapdragon 821. Industry experts predict that Qualcomm will be able to develop the Snapdragon 830 chipset in time for the development of the Galaxy S8.

As of now, consumers will have to wait for Samsung to officially announce the new Galaxy S8 smartphone.
