Samsung has been having a good year with the unveiling of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones, but not until the South Korean tech giant faced one of their biggest tech issues in recent years with the Galaxy Note 7. The overheating and battery explosion reports regarding the Galaxy Note 7 have prompted Samsung to recall all Note 7 units worldwide, thus causing a huge blow in the company's stocks this year.

The one thing that Samsung would need is an excellent device that would make the people trust them again and have their profits bounce back. For now, it is rumored that the next in line to be released by Samsung is the next iteration of the S-series Galaxy Tab. As reported by Mobile N Apps, the Galaxy Tab S3 was already expected to be released back in September as its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S2, has been around the market for almost a year. However, Samsung focused on the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 7 for the remaining months of 2016, leaving no room left for the Galaxy Tab S3.

According to the latest rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released in the first quarter of 2017. Specifically, the next Galaxy tablet might be released during the company's first hardware event next year, which is expected to happen in March.

The public can expect at least two special variants of the Galaxy Tab S3. This time, the variants will be differentiated according to their network connectivity. The first variant, tagged as SM-T820, will feature Wi-Fi connectivity. The last variant, SM-T825, is expected to be the model with LTE connectivity, Sam Mobile reported.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will be powered by an Exynos 8890 processor paired with the powerful Adreno 510 graphics card. As for the possible price range of the upcoming Galaxy tablet, Game N Guide reported that the device will be quite more expensive that the Galaxy Tab S2's original price, $399.
