The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was expected to launch last September but was understandably delayed given that the South Korean tech giant was busy dealing with the fiasco caused by the exploding batteries of its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 7. Now, according to the latest reports, the third-generation ultra-high-end Samsung tablet could be arriving very soon.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S3 but the device has been spotted online several times already. Just a few days ago, the tablet received Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. Now, the upcoming device has also received Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). Unfortunately, both listings did not reveal any of the device's technical specifications other than its model number, which is SM-T825.

Before the recent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications, the device was last seen in November 2016 on a manifest on Zauba, a website that tracks India's import and export.

Not much is known about the Galaxy Tab S3 but it is expected to receive significant upgrades including the latest processor, possibly the Exynos 8890 chip, as well as upgraded random-access memory (RAM). It may also come with a USB Type-C port. Like the Galaxy Tab S2, the upcoming device is also expected to come in two variants: one with an 8-inch display and the other with a 9.7-inch screen. Both new models are certain to use active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is rumored to arrive in the first half of 2017. The tablet was expected to make an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) but the trade show came and went without any mention of the upcoming device. Now, reports are betting on the Galaxy Tab S3's introduction at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this February.

Samsung has not commented on the latest rumors and speculations about the Galaxy Tab S3 so information should be taken with a grain of salt.
