'Scandal' season 6 episode 3 spoilers, news: Olivia finds evidence that can bring Cyrus down
Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is determined to bring down Cyrus (Jeff Perry) for Frankie's (Ricardo Chavira) murder. Meanwhile, Abby (Darby Stanchfield) might be able to convince Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) to turn against Olivia.
In the upcoming third episode of "Scandal" season 6, titled "Fates Worse Than Death," Olivia will do everything in her power to bring Cyrus down for the murder of Frankie. The upcoming episode's synopsis reads: "In the midst of a national crisis, Cyrus's fate is sealed. Meanwhile, Olivia and the gladiators will stop at nothing to get to the truth."
As seen from the episode 3 promo, Olivia is threatening Cyrus that she is going to keep looking for evidence that will ruin him and that he should watch his back. Although Cyrus admits that he "made a horrible mistake," he appears fearless of Olivia by exposing her to the press, announcing that she is after the presidency.
Episode photos from TV Fanatic reveal that Huck (Guillermo Diaz) was able to find something that can finally help Olivia blame Frankie's murder on Cyrus.
Meanwhile, Abby might also have something up her sleeve to ruin Olivia, as she is seen telling Fitz that he's been played. It is possible that Abby is referring to Olivia because she has already undermined Olivia's previous operations to bring Cyrus down.
Since Abby has left the Gladiators a long time ago, it is possible that she might resent Olivia. It is also possible that she is on a mission of her own to destroy Olivia and Olivia's team.
In the upcoming episodes of "Scandal" season 6, the actor who plays Scott Foley shared with Entertainment Weekly that his character's whereabouts will soon be revealed and that he will play a vital role on the show.
"He plays a very important role. He disappears and there's a reason why he disappears. We will see it. It's very important where he went, but that's all I can say," Foley shared.
"Scandal" season 6 airs every Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
