'Scream Queens' season 2 episode 10 spoilers: Fight against the Green Meanie reaches climax as fan favorite character returns
Survival is the name of the game when "Scream Queens" season 2's finale episode rolls out next week. Whose revenge plot will finally succeed, and whose will fail, and who will actually care enough to go out and look for Zayday (Keke Palmer)?
The official press release teases that the Green Meanie will finally be getting its revenge, but which one? There are still two of them remaining after they teamed up to take down the third vengeful Meanie, Wes (Oliver Hudson). There's sly Nurse Hoffel (Kirstie Alley) who is after Chanel (Emma Roberts) for killing her sister, Agatha (Jan Hoag), Kappa Kappa Tau's housekeeper from season 1, and the reluctant murderer, Dr. Cascade (Taylor Lautner), the baby in the womb from 1985, who has just been acting on his vengeful mom's behest.
Could a fourth Green Meanie reveal himself/herself? And will it turn out to be Mrs. Hollis (Trilby Glover), who may have taken over from her brother, the original Green Meanie, after he died? After all, the episode promo does show her being adamant about Dr. Cascade fulfilling his duties as her son. Or could somebody else entirely unexpected own up to orchestrating the murdering spree that's been plaguing the C.U.R.E. Institute Hospital?
A dangerous surgery also has to be performed on Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) courtesy of Dr. Holt (John Stamos), who has successfully accomplished two record-setting surgeries prior. Will he be able to succeed in this surgery, or will this be that one task that he ultimately fails in? Will his newly implanted hand cooperate, or will it start causing him trouble, yet again, in its quest to end Chanel's life?
Hester (Lea Michele) will be making a move of her own in order to secure her future, but will it be for or against the Institute? And after letting everyone know that Zayday has been missing for days, will Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) go on a haunt to find her MIA housemate, or will Zayday have to device her own plan of escape?
The title of the episode itself seems rather telling. Does "Drain the Swamp" mean they will literally be draining the swamp to get to the bottom of things? And will Agent Hemphill's (Niecy Nash) impending resurrection affect how things will go down in a significant way?
The "Scream Queens" season finale airs on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
