'Shameless' season 7 spoilers, plot news: Will Frank and Monica stay married this time?

Frank (William H. Macy) and Monica (Chloe Webb) will drop a major bomb on their children in the next episode of "Shameless" season 7.

The ex-couple appears to be back into each other's arms as seen in the trailer for the episode titled "Happily Ever After." Based on the promo teaser, Frank and Monica will decide to get married again, but it seems like their children are not happy with the decision.

In the trailer, the couple's firstborn child Fiona (Emmy Rossum) will remind them that Frank is still married to Sheila (Joan Cusack). Yet Frank will dismiss that, saying that he was only legally married to his wife and he still wants to marry the mother of his six children.

It seems like the two did everything to fulfill their wish, since Monica can be seen wearing a white wedding gown in the trailer. However, it also appears like their second marriage will be short-lived, since the two appears to be brawling with each other while still wearing their wedding attire toward the end of the video.

Meanwhile, Frank and Monica's gay son Ian (Cameron Monaghan) could be in deep trouble after he decided to join his ex-boyfriend Mickey (Noel Fisher) in his plan to escape to Mexico after breaking out of prison. Their plan seemed to be spiraling down, after Mickey decided to steal a car and rob a convenience store. This could put both their lives in danger, especially when the police begins to run after them.

Showtime revealed the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "Frank and Monica have an interesting proposal for the kids. Lip buckles under pressure from Debbie to get his sobriety under control. Meanwhile, Fiona sees a business opportunity as Kev and V attempt to start a new chapter."

The network will air the episode on Sunday, Dec. 11.
