HBO has recently confirmed the premiere date of the fourth season of their popular TV series "Silicon Valley."

As reported by Coming Soon, the Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated series will return for its fourth season — with 10 episodes under its belt — on Sunday, April 23, at 10:00 p.m. ET.

The show will air before "Veep," which is scheduled to have its new season premiere in the 10:30 p.m. ET timeslot on April 16. Both series will be preceded by the final season of "The Leftovers" instead of "Game of Thrones," whose premiere date is delayed until this summer.

"Silicon Valley" takes a comic look at the modern-day heart of the information technology gold rush. In this world, the people most qualified to succeed are also the ones who are the least capable of handling success. The series is partially inspired by the story of Mike Judge, particularly his own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s.

The third season of the HBO comedy series ended with the Pied Piper team once again gathered in Bachman's living room, thinking about their uncertain future. For the upcoming fourth season of the show, details are still very limited, so not much is known about the possible direction the story will take after season 3.

However, "Silicon Valley" cast member Kumail Nanjiani recently made an appearance in the season 4 trailer of HBO's Sunday night show, "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver." John Oliver announced the season 4 premiere of his show with the set of the Pied Piper office in "Silicon Valley" seen in the background and with Nanjiani deriding him.

"Silicon Valley" stars Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, Matt Ross, Suzanne Cryer, and Jimmy O.

The hit comedy series is created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler, and Dave Krinsky. Judge, Alec Berg, Michael Rotenberg, and Tom Lassally serve as the series' executive producers.

HBO's "Silicon Valley" season 4 premieres on Sunday, April 23, at 10:00 p.m. ET.
