'Sister Wives' season 8 spoilers, news: Brown family to deal with Mariah's revelation in upcoming episodes?
It is expected to be a spectacular year for the Browns this 2017.
The eighth season of the TLC reality series "Sister Wives" features a lot of changes for the Brown family. For one, Maddie, whose parents are Kody Brown and second wife Janelle Brown, is not only married but is also expecting her first child. As reported by Us Weekly, the Brown daughter and her husband, Caleb Brush, are expecting a baby boy into their new family.
"We are both super excited for our little boy," the couple told Us Weekly. They went on to say, "Although we had a good hunch that it was a boy, it's nice to finally know, so we can start preparing!"
The married couple, who tied the knot in June 2016, broke the news of the gender of their unborn baby to many of their loved ones at a gender reveal party held at Christine Brown's house in Las Vegas on Monday, Jan. 9.
The Brown family also recently celebrated the first birthday of Robyn and Kody's daughter, Ariella. She was born last year, on Jan. 10.
As reported by The Christian Post, the coming episodes of "Sister Wives" will also focus a lot on Mykelti and her boyfriend, Tony, as the couple makes preparations for their upcoming wedding. In one of the previous episodes, fans saw how much the couple knew about each other during a Brown family game night.
One of the biggest changes that the family will also have to deal with is Mariah's recent revelation that she's gay. Upon hearing about her gender identity, Meri was upset that she didn't know what her daughter had been going through. The other "Sister Wives" also expressed their love and support for Mariah.
On the other hand, Kody said that although his faith disagrees with Mariah's gender identification, he would continue to support his daughter as her father. He also commended his daughter's courage for admitting the truth.
After Mariah's revelation, many fans expect that the next episodes to come will show how the entire Brown family will cope with this information.
"Sister Wives" airs every Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
