'Sleepy Hollow' season 4 episode 4 spoilers: Henry returns to torment his father in 'The People v. Ichabod Crane'
After acquiring the lease to a studio type apartment in his new home state, it looks like creaking floorboards and a not-quite-so walk-in closet are the least of Ichabod's problems in the next episode of "Sleepy Hollow."
Titled "The People v. Ichabod Crane," the episode will feature a monster that puts its victims through their most haunting memories all over again. It will be up to Diana (Lyndie Greenwood) and the rest of his D.C. crew to figure out how to bring this monster down before it causes some lasting damage to Ichabod's psyche. But can they succeed against one of the most dangerous monsters to ever hit the show?
The trailer for the next episode reveals that the monster will take Ichabod back to the old times, in a courtroom and under trial by none other his son Henry (John Noble). What will Ichabod's worst memories reveal to him and about him, and how much will these revelations change him if and when he makes it out of there in one piece?
Meanwhile, the next episode finds Jenny forging an unlikely bond that may spell the fate of the entire world. Who could be on the other side of this bond? Could it be Molly (Oona Yaffe) who is the new Witness, or someone else totally unexpected?
In an interview with TV Line, actor Mison talked about how he did not expect that the next Witness would turn out to be an 11-year-old girl. He shared his character's possible reluctance to put a child in the line of fire, especially knowing the kind of battle that she will have to fight alongside him.
"For Ichabod, to see that it's an 11-year-old girl, knowing the sort of battle that she's entering, how could anyone be enthused? How could he be excited that he's found the next witness, when it's a child?" Mison said.
"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 episode 4 airs on Friday, Jan. 27, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
