'Star Wars: Battlefront 3' release date, gameplay news 2016: Fanmade title, 'Galaxy in Turmoil,' to hit Steam?

Although the "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" remake or "Galaxy in Turmoil" has yet to be made official by game developer Frontwire Studios, a fanmade version of the title is going to hit steam. The announcement was made by the game developer itself.

Tony "Fergie" Romanelli, the president of Frontwire Studios, recently announced on the company's official website that Frontwire has just signed a deal with Valve/Steam for the game's distribution.

"It is with great pleasure that as of today I am able to officially announce that Frontwire Studios has officially signed a distribution deal with Steam/Valve for the game Galaxy in Turmoil," Romanelli wrote. "After ongoing discussion between Valve Representatives and myself, Valve/Steam has agreed to ship Galaxy in Turmoil to its millions of users for FREE."

There was some concern coming from Steam with regard to handling the distribution rights of the game since the title uses the "Star Wars" IP. According to Romanelli, the company's decision to make a distribution deal with Valve is a huge step toward cementing its reputation in the industry.

"Galaxy in Turmoil" is said to be an unofficial sequel to the popular "Star Wars: Battlefront" franchise. It was supposed to bring the title "Battlefront 3." However, the game was canceled by the game developer before it even hit the market.

The cancellation of the game did not stop some of the fans of the original franchise to continue the project and brought up a new title for it. According to PC Gamer, the new game was created around the existing game, which never made it in the market.

Nonetheless, the remake has yet to be given approval by Disney, which could eventually lead to its shutdown. As of the moment, Disney has yet to provide an official statement with regard to the new game.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that "Battlefront 3: Galaxy in Turmoil" will be an exciting remake that features multiplayer modes and multiplayer battles.
