'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC update news 2016: 'Death Star' official screenshots revealed

Several games all over the world have been hyped up with the anticipated arrival of the next DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront." After the long wait, Electronic Arts has finally released the details of the upcoming expansion set which is going to hit the digital and electronic this Fall. The thrilling first and third-person shooter video game will be introducing fresh locations and a whole new adventure based on George Lucas' original "Star Wars" film universe.

The next expansion pack of "Star Wars: Battlefront" is called the "Death Star," in reference to the infamous Death Star of the original "Star Wars" trilogy in the 1970s to 1980s, which is the weapon of mass destruction of planetary scale used by the evil Empire to destroy countless of lives across the galaxy. The fans will know more about the infamous Death Star as they go on missions to stop the evil forces from threatening the universe.

EA Games recently released the first set of official screenshots of the latest DLC pack, revealing the new locations and gameplay contents that will surely astonish the fans. As reported by Game N Guide, the "Death Star" will be featuring "multistage level designs that automatically adjust mission parameters." 

It was also revealed that the new "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC pack will introduce new protagonists and villainous characters. Han Solo's most reliable confidante and the famous Wookie fighter, Chewbacca, is going to appear in the game. Another villain named Bossk is also arriving through the latest expansion. He is introduced in the "Star Wars" universe back in Episode 5 where he was seen receiving instructions from Darth Vader.

Lastly, the "Death Star" DLC will be featuring new batch of spacecraft, vehicles, weapons, and Star Cards which can be used by the players for their missions. The official screenshots of the expansion revealed the appearance of the new Red 5 X-Wing used by Luke Skywalker, as well as Darth Vader's fighting vehicle.
