'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC release date news update: EA to reveal significant details about 'Death Star' expansion at Star Wars Celebration event?
"Star Wars Battlefront" players are getting super excited following the announcement of game developer EA DICE that some gamers already have the opportunity to play the game's new DLC pack. According to reports, the "Death Star" expansion pack may finally be released to everyone next month.
The excitement has continued after the Star Wars Celebration official website had included the third DLC pack of "Star Wars Battlefront" on their notes. The mentions of the third DLC pack were immediately taken down by the site admin; however, Segment Next was able to secure screenshots of the said details and share it through a report.
Although the footages have not really revealed significant information, they give fans the notion that the third DLC pack of the game could be highlighted during the event. However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by EA.
There are speculations suggesting that the inclusion of the third DLC pack on the website was a mistake. Video game observers are saying that the company is supposed to surprise fans with an announcement of the new DLC pack; however, the alleged reveal took away the element of surprise.
Meanwhile, fans and critics are expecting an exciting addition to the game once the DLC pack is released in the market. The "Death Star" DLC is said to bring new maps and a new game mode, which is already expected as EA has brought a new game mode in each of the "Star Wars Battlefront" expansion packs they released.
The game developer has already announced that they will roll out four Star Wars Battlefront DLC packs for Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC platforms. The plan is to release three expansion packs this year, while the last one will arrive during the first quarter of 2017.
As of the moment, many fans expect more details to be revealed by EA as the company gears up for the third DLC release.
