There are new rumors and speculations going around about the character that Benicio Del Toro will play in "Star Wars: Episode 8."

The latest buzz is that the actor will play the main antagonist of the film although that honor already goes to Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

However, YouTuber Mike Zeroh, who has been sharing speculations and leaks about "Star Wars: Episode 8," suggests that while Del Toro's character will likely be an authoritative figure, he will not be the main villain.

Instead, he will likely be a leader of another faction outside of the two opposing forces—Resistance and First Order—who will offer his services to one of these groups.

It will be more likely that he will be of help to the First Order as Del Toro's character in "Star Wars: Episode 8 has been implied by the actor himself to be antagonistic.

Playing coy, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor told Spanish radio station RAC 1 early last year that, "I'm like the villain, but we'll see."

A few months after that, there was a bit of a change, as he told Entertainment Tonight, "I don't know if he's a villain. People are saying that, but it's like they read a different script than I read."

In other "Star Wars: Episode 8" spoilers, rumors about Yoda appearing in the highly-anticipated film as a Force Ghost once again take center stage.

Although the Jedi Master's appearance remains unconfirmed, Zeroh believes that he will be back to guide Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) as they train, adding that he will get a screen time no more than three minutes.

Meanwhile, in a commentary in the Blu-Ray collected edition for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," director J.J. Abrams teased via StarWarsNewsNet that "Star Wars: Episode 8" could focus on a new relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren.

"They've never met but he's heard of this girl. And so, now comes a moment when their meeting is inevitable," the filmmaker said, adding that Kylo Ren and Rey will "have a very interesting relationship with moving forward."

"Star Wars: Episode 8" will follow Rey and Kylo Ren's journey to be the newest faces of the light and dark side of the Force. The former will be training with Luke to become a Jedi while the latter will be shaped into a Sith by Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

"Star Wars: Episode 8" hits the cinemas Dec. 15, 2017.
