"Steven Universe" is still on hiatus but will come back to continue with season 3 episodes this month.

Since the show has been known to take extended breaks in between, fans have fended for themselves in finding out more about the upcoming episodes of season 3 which are part of the "Summer of Steven" arc.

Recently, the titles of new episodes have reportedly been leaked. Also, there are rumors that fans may see the expected fusion between Steven and Peridot happening in the upcoming episodes.

"Steven Universe" season 3 will return with new episodes this coming July 18, as confirmed by Cartoon Network Canada's latest promotional banner for the show. It revealed that "Summer of Steven" episodes will be aired from Mondays thru Fridays at 7 p.m. on Cartoon Network.

Meanwhile, the alleged episode titles for the anticipated season arc were shared by a netizen with Twitter handle, @StevenAccount. The list included reference to "Smoky Quartz," which seemed to point to what fans have been expecting for some time: the fusion of Steven and Peridot. The list that was leaked though has not been confirmed by Cartoon Network.

Although not a lot is known about the highly anticipated episodes, an interview with the series creator, Rebecca Sugar, can give avid followers some idea of where the show is going. Sugar told Entertainment Weekly that viewers will understand in "Steven Universe" season 3 about Steven and his beginnings as well as what he is meant to do with his life.

"There will be a lot more about Gem history and Gems in the present and how they feel about what's going on, on earth," she explained.

She said that Steven will have an emotional journey in the upcoming storylines as a part of his growing up process. Sugar went on to say that, "In real life there are things that you just learn. I think the balance for me is trying to make sure that there's this harsh element to adulthood that we start to experience when we're becoming adults."

She also said there ought to be a balance there which should be approached in a way that children dealing with issues of growing up can understand, since the show's audience is made up of a lot of children.
