Season 2 of "Stranger Things" is coming to Netflix this Halloween, and the showrunners have prepared "different kinds of horror" for its fans. Meanwhile, not everyone coming to Hawkins this season are friendly new neighbors.

"Stranger Things" season 2 kicks off a year after Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) has returned from the upside down. As seen from Netflix' Super Bowl ad of the series, it appears that a bigger and scarier monster will be invading the small town of Hawkins.

According to Entertainment Weekly, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer are keeping the kinds of monsters that will appear in "Stranger Things" season 2 a secret.

However, Matt did say that the show will be having "different kinds of horror." Therefore, much is anticipated to take place in season 2, such as Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) return, Will's relapse to the upside down, and the coming of mysterious new characters.

Any of these storylines can bring horrifying twists to the story, and fans will have to wait until premiere to see because the cast and crew of"Stranger Things" are keeping everything under tight wraps.

Meanwhile, it appears that not everyone new in "Stranger Things" will be as friendly as everyone expects.

Matt revealed that while Max (Sadie Sink) will be fitting in with Mike's (Finn Wolfhard) and his gang, her brother, Billy (Dacre Montgomery), won't be making any friends in Hawkins.

"Stephen King always has really great human villains. The evil in the real world is often as bad or worse than the supernatural evil, so we wanted to introduce a character like that," Matt explained.

On a lighter note, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) will have a monster of his own, but this one will be his friend.

Dustin will be having a polliwog-like pet that he gets to bond with in "Stranger Things" season 2. This is an alien creature whose origin will be revealed when the show premieres.

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Oct. 31 on Netflix.
