The path of success of "Street Fighter V" was not easily achieved especially when it gathered bad reviews about its alleged lack of content and update. The title still managed to gather a significant amount of players, which is why the "Season 2" downloadable content (DLC) became possible.

Avid "Street Fighter V" players waited for the "Season 2" expansion, hoping to get an enhanced gameplay and a boost of overall experience, but it seems like some players are willing to take risky steps that ruin the entire gameplay, causing the DLC to be a center of controversy.

Several players shared their feedback about "Street Fighter V: Season 2" especially those people who seemed to be playing the game unfairly. One example of this is that players dodge the rules in the Ranked Match in order to keep their ranking. This has been going on for several months, prompting players to become frustrated with the mode. Players have been complaining about how they take effort to battle out their League Points only to see their opponents getting the points in easiest, unjust way. There are times when their opponents would just accept the loss and give up their points.

It is reported that "Season 2" DLC changes all the unjustly happenings with the cheaters being punished of their illegal activities. According to GameSpot, rage quitters will not be identified and will have their League Points deducted if they disconnect from the game in the middle of their battle. Furthermore, rage quitters will be temporarily dismissed in their matchmaking, though there are no specifics revealed by Capcom yet about this.

It is obvious that Capcom heard the pleas of the players and took a major step to avoid "Street Fighter V" to experience a major downfall. The "Season 2" DLC is expected to arrive on Dec. 20.
