'Suits' season 7 spoilers: Donna wants more; Louis to find growth next season

The show ended on a happy note this season 6, but Donna (Sarah Rafferty) is far from done with wanting and getting more out of her current situation. Meanwhile, Louis (Rick Hoffman) will experience growth in season 7 as a result of her fallout with Tara (Carly Pope).

Previously in the finale of "Suits" season 6, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) finally had his meeting with the ethics committee, and thanks to Jessica's (Gina Torres) short return and the dirt that she has over Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope), Mike's dream of finally becoming a lawyer to help those most in need has begun to come true.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Aaron Korsh previewed what's in store for everyone at the firm this coming season 7.

"The dream team is indeed back together, but they're back together in a different way than they were the last time they worked together," Korsh said.

"So [season] seven is about seeing how this team is going to work together with their new power dynamics, how the firm is going to work with Jessica's absence and how Harvey is going to respond to being in a power position as opposed to the freelance superstar," added Korsh.

Korsh also noted that Donna wanting more will be explored in season 7.

The showrunner explained that Donna wanting more could translate to many different things, such as wanting more with the firm or wanting more with Harvey (Gabriel Macht). Korsh noted that season 7 will be a platform for Donna in finding what she really wants to have more of.

Meanwhile, Louis will also have personal growth this coming season 7 as a result of his fallout with then-fiancée Tara.

According to an interview with Deadline, Korsh explained that Louis will be focusing on the good things that he has in the firm come season 7 and that Tara leaving will be his biggest lesson in becoming a better person.

"Suits" season 7 is anticipated to premiere this 2017.
