'Suits' season 6 return date, cast news, episode 11 spoilers: Rachel to leave the firm? Katrina comes to Louis
Rachel (Meghan Markle) might be getting a job offer that she cannot resist. Meanwhile, Katrina, portrayed by "12 Monkeys" star Amanda Schull, comes to Louis (Rick Hoffman) with big news.
On the return of "Suits" season 6, with episode 11 titled "She's Gone," in a few weeks, Rachel might be the next to leave Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis' firm.
The synopsis for the episode reads, "Harvey, Louis, and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) plan for a future without Jessica (Gina Torres); Mike (Patrick J. Adams) adjusts to life as an ex-convict; Rachel considers her options."
In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Aaron Korsh shared that Rachel's father, Robert (Wendell Pierce), will be making her an offer to leave the firm and come work for him instead.
"Her father is going to say, 'Listen, it was one thing when Jessica was there. She's not there, and I'm not sure that firm is going to survive without her. Come work for me,'" Korsh explained.
Aside from Rachel realizing that her mentor in becoming a great lawyer has already left the firm, Robert is also going to point out that "[Rachel] might have a better chance of getting into the bar if she left the firm that hired a fraud and moved on," according to Korsh.
Meanwhile, Katrina will be having an intense meeting with Louis come "Suits" season 6, as seen in a promotional photo.
According to Korsh, Katrina's appearance is directly related to Jessica's exit from the firm.
Now that Katrina is working for Robert, it is possible that her meeting with Louis has something to do with Robert's previous offer to merge with Jessica's firm. But judging by the look on Katrina's face, she might be bringing bad news to Louis.
"Suits" season 6 returns on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
