'Super Mario Run' bugs, issues: Android users may download malware from cloned apps; iOS users facing Facebook issue
"Super Mario Run" is expected to reach the same phenomenon that "Pokémon GO" has achieved, but it seems like there are people who are sabotaging the promising features of the game. It has been reported that the mobile game has got the Android users disappointed due to the clones seen on Play Store.
"Super Mario Run" is currently available for iOS devices only, causing the Android players to become frustrated at it. This has caused some cloned copy to appear on the Play Store, but they may be faced with bugs and issues the moment they download it. The cloned apps are said to be a possible malware.
As of this time, Nintendo has not released any "Super Mario Run" Android version and so the copycat could be malware, which may be tampered when uploaded. Specifically, "Super Plumber Run," is one of the clones that could be a malware, according to Digital Fans.
Android users are still requesting for their own "Super Mario Run" to be available on their operating system (OS), but since the setup of iOS and Android are different, it may take some time before the title is released for the latter OS. Furthermore, the exclusive system of Apple makes the game more secured.
Meanwhile, iOS players are apparently facing issues when they link the game to their Facebook account. They observed that there are no listed friends connected to the game when they access Facebook.
Nintendo was quick to face the issue and announced, "The App may automatically shut down if it cannot friend candidates when you link Facebook to your friend list. This will not affect your saved game data and if you reboot the App, you will be able to play again. We are looking into a solution for a future update and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused in the meantime."
