Super Smash Bros 4 Characters: New Characters In Leaked Video?
Recently, the character named Shulk, who's originally from Nintendo Wii's Xenoblade Chronicles game, has been confirmed to have a slot in the huge roster of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. 4. However, a bigger story came in before the Xenoblade Chronicles' main protagonist was added to the roster. It could be possible that the recently "leaked" footage of the supposedly work-in-progress Super Smash Bros. 4 is actually legit since Nintendo of America ordered to have it taken down due to copyright claims.
Shulk's appearance in the game was first seen in the leak, days before he was officially confirmed to be joining the ranks of the all-star cast or Super Smash Bros 4 characters. Seeing this, there's an extremely good chance that other characters we saw in the leak could possibly be confirmed in the following days. This includes Ice Climbers from the NES game Ice Cilmbers, Solid Snake from Metal Gear series, Bowser Jr. from Super Mario Bros. series and that funny Dog and Duck from the NES game, Duck Hunt.
Other characters to be included as DLC, according to the leak, are Wolf from Star Fox, Lucas from Mother 3 and Chorusmen from Rhythm Heaven. Aside from the clear screen that showed the potential default set of characters of the game, part of the footage also showed a good chunk of the gameplay, but this is still subject to change until we see the official gameplay footage once the title comes out.
The said leaked video was originally uploaded by YouTube user Izat True, but it didn't take long to have all of his videos be taken down by YouTube as per Nintendo America's request (He doesn't have any other videos aside from the leaks so there's nothing left to see in his or her channel).
Fortunately for gamers, we can still see an uploaded copy of the leaked footage in a video uploaded by YouTube user Banana Split. You can watch the video below and see it for yourself.
