Super Smash Bros 4 News: Pictures of Stages for Wii U and 3Ds Version Revealed by Game Creator
The game creator of the Super Smash Bros 4 game, Masahiro Sakurai, has revealed some photos of game, showing the PictoChat 2 Stage in the 3DS version and the Gamer stage in the Wii U version.
Showing a picture of the first stage, he said, "Don't let Mom find you while you're duking it out!!"
"If Mom does spot you, she'll scold you and blow you away!! ...I've never seen a fighting action game as chaotic as this one," he added, showing another picture.
He also revealed that Pac-Man will be included for the PictoChat 2 stage, saying that it was added "as an element from Pac-Pix, which was released in 2005."
He said that the changes were 'revolutionary' and that there have been a lot of new elements added in the PictoChat 2 stage, explaining in one of his screenshots that there is more "depth" to the stage. He added that "the illusory nature of the drawing is meant to challenge your perspective."
He further revealed some spoiler regarding the new details added to the game, such as alternate tracks on the 3DS version. The tracks can be chosen by simply holding down the R button while choosing a stage. He also said that the brown drop shadow indicates that the track is active.
For a final spoiler, he said, "Also, For the Boxing Ring, if you select the stage while holding down the L Button, you can play on the Smash Bros. version of the stage. If you hold down the Y Button, you can choose to play on the Punch Out! version. These variations are usually selected at random, but this method lets you select them manually".
