The lives of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be put in danger by the hands of the government group that kidnapped them. Meanwhile, the British Men of Letters will be taking action towards the Winchesters' abduction.

Previously in "Supernatural" season 12, Sam and Dean were arrested by the secret service because of their attempt to kill the President of the United States. However, they were actually trying to save the President and the country from Lucifer's (Vince Vicente) wrath who was inhabiting the body of the most powerful man in the United States.

Although they successfully got Lucifer out of the President, Sam and Dean have been captured, and in the upcoming episode 9 titled "First Blood," their lives will be at stake.

Based on the episode 9 promo, Sam and Dean have been kept for more than six weeks now, and it seems that the agents are ready to get rid of them. But Castiel (Misha Collins) will ask for Mary's (Samantha Smith) help in finding her boys, and the two will work out a to break them out.

However, the British Men of Letters will do something independently regarding Sam and Dean's captivity. It seems that the group will try to recruit the Winchesters to be part of their chapter.

In an interview with TV Line, Ackles said, "There are going to be some recruitment attempts, some disagreements about methods of hunting, and that will certainly boil to a point.

But the boys might not take the offer, as Ackles added that it will be revealed in the second half of the season that the methods of the British Men of Letters might not be the best way to handle things.

Executive producer Andrew Dabb also explains that the good and the bad will be revealed about the British Men of Letters.

"The bigger punch in the second half of the season: Do the ends justify the means? And if so, what means are our guys willing to tolerate?" Dabb added.

"Supernatural" season 12 returns on Thursday, Jan. 26, on The CW.
