'Tales of Berseria' PS4, PC demo: premise of the game revealed by Bandai Namco; download details for PC now available

This month is dedicated to welcome "Tales of Berseria" in the gaming world. Prior to its scheduled release, a demo is already out for both PC and PlayStation 4 (PS4).

The demo will give the enthusiasts a glimpse of what the anticipated role-playing game (RPG) has. For PC players, it gives pertinent details on how it will run on the system. This leads to the system requirements of PC, which is not as demanding as other high-definition games in the market.

"Tales of Berseria" only needs a GeForce 9800 GTX or Radeon HD 4850 graphics chip, a Phenom II X2 550 or Core 2 Duo E8400 and at least 2 GB of random-access memory (RAM) as a minimum requirement. To get the most out of the game, the recommended specs include GTX 560 or HD 7870 graphics card and a processor of Intel Core i5-750 (2.66GHz) or AMD Phenom II X4 965 (3.2GHz).

"'In Tales of Berseria,' players embark on a journey of self-discovery as they assume the role of Velvet, a young woman whose once kind demeanor has been replaced and overcome with a festering anger and hatred after a traumatic experience three years prior to the events within Tales of Berseria," says Bandai Namco about the game.

The studio noted that the main character, together with a group of pirates, will journey across the sea and discover many islands in the sacred Midgan kingdom.

"Tales of Berseria" is set to be released on Jan. 24 for PS4 in North America and Jan. 27 in Europe. An international release is scheduled for the PC version on Jan. 27.
