Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez News: Swift Throws Tea Party for Friends to Celebrate International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women's Day this year, Taylor Swift threw a tea party for her best friends Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters, Este and Alana (minus Danielle) last Saturday.

She posted a picture of the group in her Instagram account with this caption: "We are out best when we cheer each other on and build each other up. Happy International Women's Day."

The picture showed Swift hugging Gomez from behind with her arm around her friend. Goulding also shared a picture of the five of them showing her, Swift and Gomez giggling away, while the Haim sisters, hugged each other, and captioned it, "Well this is bloody CHILL."

Gomez also posted a picture of her next to Swift wearing a white, hairy coat, with her feet up in the air, while relaxing on a chez lounge. Gomez captioned it, "she's so fluffy." Gomez and Swift have been friends for the past four years, and this outing proves that the friendship is still as strong as ever.

The girls appeared to be in a posh hotel, reportedly in Las Vegas, sipping on champagne, soda and tea.

The group were then spotted at the Hakkasan nightclub, where Calvin Harris was performing as DJ. Goulding has collaborated with Harris on songs like "Outside" and "I Need Your Love." Some reports said it was Gomez's idea to hook Swift and Harris up.

In other news, Harris, 31, has split up with underwear model Aarika Wolf, following a seven-month romance. They just "couldn't make it work," reports said.

The breakup just added more fuel to the rumor that Harris and Swift are indeed primed to hook up. Harris has never been shy to admit that he finds Swift to be an amazing songwriter and would love to work with her in the future. They have been seen getting close at times, and the outing of Swift, Goulding, Gomez and the Haim sisters to watch Harris DJ in Las Vegas just made tongues wag wilder. Swift was seen doing her signature dance moves in the DJ booth.
