Taylor Swift, Drake dating rumors: Dating or collaborating?

For weeks now, pop singer Taylor Swift has been subject to dating rumors following her breakup with "Thor" actor Tom Hiddleston. Right now, Swift is rumored to be dating rapper Drake. Others, however, suggest that the musicians are simply collaborating in the studio.

Amid all the dating rumors, Drake recently posted a photo of him and Swift in a room with a small crowd. He posted the photo on Instagram and captioned it with, "Is that velvet?" According to reports the photo was taken at Drake's birthday bash, when Swift dropped by at the rapper's party last month. Among Drake's guests were a few people who aren't exactly friends with the pop sensation. This includes her ex-lover John Mayer and her former friend singer-songwriter Katy Perry.

US Magazine isn't entirely sure what to believe about the dating rumors. Some sources are telling the publication that the two are dating, while others suggest that they are only working on music. But fans are even more perplexed with the duo. One even dropped a comment on Drake's Instagram post, saying "Drake posted a picture with Taylor Swift and I have never been so stressed out !!! What IS this?"

Both artists are currently single. Swift and Hiddleston called it quits in September after a brief period of dating. Meanwhile, Drake and singer-songwriter Rihanna once again ended their relationship just a few weeks before Drake's birthday bash.

Way back in 2010, the rapper admitted to Extra that he was willing to do a collaboration with the pop singer. He said, "Seeing Taylor Swift in person is always fun for me. I bought this Taylor Swift T-shirt the other day that I might wear tonight. I just have this small little thing with her; I just like her whole being. I'm excited about her career."
