'Teen Wolf' season 6 release date, cast rumors: Show to premiere mid-June? Harry Styles to replace Dylan O'Brien?
Fans who are following the hit MTV series "Teen Wolf" are undeniably awaiting the new season. With five installments over, the show managed to churn out great episodes that had several fans waiting for more. Add the fact that the last episode from the season 5 finale was a cliffhanger, fans are eager to know when the sixth season will premiere.
Despite still lacking a specific date, many believe that this June will be the month that "Teen Wolf" will make its return to the television screens.
Some even believe that it may be on June 13, citing that it is the safest bet due to the fact that the previous seasons have premiered in the same month, according to Australian Network News.
Unfortunately, Dylan O'Brien apparently will not really be able to return in the coming season.
The return of the "Maze Runner 3" star was a big question mark for the show after the actor suffered major injuries during the filming of the movie, and fans feared the worst if he could make it back in time for "Teen Wolf" season 6.
However, it does appear that the fans' fears could be a reality as the actor's publicist Jennifer Allen revealed that it would take a lot more time before he could recover from the injuries, making him unavailable for the role.
There have been many talks about who could take his place in the series, with some claiming that One Direction's Harry Styles may fit the bill, but as of now there is still no confirmation on how this will develop.
This is a huge blow to the show as O'Brien is the latest addition of the characters who won't return to season 6. Arden Cho, who played Kira for the past five seasons, already revealed back in April that she will not return to the show.
While the real reason of her departure is still up in the air, it leaves a lot of questions as to how the story in "Teen Wolf" season 6 will pan out when the stars return this month.
