'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 8 spoilers: Scott's pack to go against Ghost Riders in last-ditch effort to save Stiles

The hunt for Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) reaches new heights following the disappearance of yet another member of Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack. But with the added threat of Mr. Douglas' (Pete Ploszek) mysterious endgame looming over their heads, will victory still be possible for the teen protectors of Beacon Hills?

The next episode of "Teen Wolf" may shed more light on Mr. Douglas' true intentions, along with Stiles' father, Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) finally opening his mind to the possibility of Stiles' existence. The trailer for the next episode also shows Beacon Hills' key players beginning to take a united stand against the Wild Hunt by trying to remember everything and everyone that they have forgotten.

Titled "Blitzkrieg," the episode will also feature Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia's (Shelley Hennig) last-ditch effort to rescue Stiles by breaching the rift into the Ghost Riders' world. The junior pack will also take drastic steps of their own by striking a deal with Theo (Cody Christian) in order to figure out what Mr. Douglas' plans are.

The new physics professor at Beacon Hills High School may have just proven himself a much bigger threat than the Ghost Riders in the previous episode of MTV's popular supernatural series. In a surprising, almost effortless move, the Nazi werewolf grabbed Mr. Rider's whip, ripped out his pineal gland, and sauntered off into the night. And in an even more surprising turn of events, he went on to whip Corey (Michael Johnston) out of existence after telling the kid that this was something he had always wanted to do.

Was Corey just a random victim who crossed the professor's path at the wrong place and time, or does Mr. Douglas have a special reason for going after Corey first? Does the chameleon pose a threat to the werewolf's grand plan, or did he just give Scott's pack an unexpected advantage by sending Stiles the best possible ally? And between Mr. Douglas and the Ghost Riders, who will turn out to be the real villain in the end?
