The sixth season of MTV's "Teen Wolf" is said to be the finale for the werewolf drama, and though some fans are disappointed to hear the news, there may be some hope for the series as executive producer Jeff Davis has reportedly been thinking about working on a spin-off.

Davis was mulling over an idea for the spin-off series in the past, and it will supposedly center on the Eichen House, a mental facility in the show. The man who runs the mad house could be Dr. Alan Deaton (Seth Gilliam), a Druid veterinarian who also happens to be Scott's (Tyler Posey) boss.

It was reported that Davis had been thinking about the spin-off for a while, and with the end of "Teen Wolf" on the horizon, he may just as well start thinking about another series.

As of now, a spin-off is yet to be announced, but with the full season about to kick in, there's still time to finalize plans. Spin-offs are also no stranger to television; titles like "Better Call Saul" and "The Originals" have found ways to extend the universes of "Breaking Bad" and "The Vampire Diaries" respectfully. Surely a "Teen Wolf" spin-off will draw in already existent fans of the franchise.

As for the cast of "Teen Wolf," Entertainment Weekly reports that they will be present in PopFest this Oct. 30. The event will be held in Los Angeles, and it will have appearances from cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian, Khylin Rhambo and Shelley Hennig. Fans are hoping that, other than an appearance, the cast could shed some light on the future of the show and perhaps more teasers for the final season.

As of now, the sixth season of "Teen Wolf" is expected to release Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. EDT.
