'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers: Lydia to use her memories to save Stiles

After finding out Stiles' (Dylan O' Brien) real name in the previous episode, it seems like his friends might finally see him back in the ninth episode of "Teen Wolf" season 6.

Based on the trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Memory Found," Lydia (Holland Roden), Scott (Tyler Posey) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) will find a way to recover their memories about their missing friend.

According to reports, the three will use Lydia's memories to create a crack on the magical barrier made by the Ghost Riders to keep them from locating Stiles' whereabouts. Lydia will reportedly recall all her romantic memories with Stiles when they were still together, especially when he confessed his love to her in the past. This will be their strongest weapon to be able to defeat the Ghost Riders and completely bring him back in their lives.

But aside from finding out a way to rescue Stiles, Scott also realized that they can also do something to help bring back all the souls that the Ghost Riders stole. This could ultimately defeat the mysterious villains.

According to the synopsis posted by Zap2it, Stiles' friends will do everything that they can to rescue him in the upcoming episode. "Liam and Theo act as decoys; Scott, Lydia and Malia enact a plan to try and remember Stiles," the synopsis reads.

Meanwhile, showrunner Jeff Davis explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly how he managed to coin Stiles' first name.

"A few years ago, I knew I would have to actually reveal Stiles's name at some point," Davis stated. "I was looking for a Polish name that was incredibly difficult to both spell and pronounce. Mieczyslaw sounded like 'mischief.' It seemed like a perfect word to describe Stiles. Both as a mischievous child and equally misbehaved adult."
