A few major developments for the upcoming video game "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" have recently been announced by Bandai Namco.

As reported by Mobile & Apps, the much-anticipated "Tekken 7" will include an Online Tournament Mode. This new mode will allow up to eight different players from across the globe to participate in an online game environment. Two options will be made available for the gamers, Single Eliminations and Double Eliminations.

Entrance to the tournaments can be made exclusive because they can be secured with passwords. Winning in the tournaments will mean earning contest prizes, which include in-game money and in-game items.

Bandai Namco also recently revealed multiple different options to accessorize "Tekken 7" characters, called the "Kiwami" or "Ultimate" collection. As reported earlier, some of the outfits are outrageous and wacky. Yoshimitsu could be dressed in a strange shark head and pants, while Shaheen can be dressed with a new silver suit and pants. Master Raven can also be suited up with a new corporate attire.

In other news, two character additions have also been announced for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." Non-human characters Kuma and Panda have been added into the mix. Kuma is Heihachi Mishima's pet who joined his master into the Tekken Force. On the other hand, Panda is Ling Xiaoyu's pet and bodyguard who follows Xiaoyu in her dangerous search for Jin Kazama.

As the console release of "Tekken 7" nears, fans expect that subsequent announcements will be made regarding character additions in the months to come. For now, confirmed characters in the game, aside from Kuma and Panda, include Kazuya, Heihachi, Feng, Nina, Akuma, and Yoshimitsu. Characters such as Anna Williams and Armor King may also be added soon.

The much-awaited "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is expected to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2017.
