'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' character news: Kuma, Panda to have a love story; details of new characters released
There are a lot more reasons for players to continue playing "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" as two more characters are joining the roster. Now, there is an overwhelming amount of fighters in the title, totaling to three dozens.
Bandai Namco releases two new characters to join the already numerous numbers of characters in "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." One of them is Kuma, who is known as the personal bodyguard (and a pet) of Heihachi Mishima, who goes back as a villain in "Tekken 7." The second new character is Panda, who is said to be less aggressive than Ling Xiaoyu.
The interesting part is how the two characters will blend into the game with their bizarre presence. According to the press release, Kuma has hidden feelings for Panda. iDigital Times wrote that gamers hope that "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will not focus entirely on the romantic angle between the two characters.
A video trailer is already out for players to take a glimpse of the new bears that will grace the "Tekken 7" roster.
The "Tekken 7" update was rolled out this week, including new details of its enhanced online tournament support. However, this can only be experienced when the game is finally released in North America in 2017.
Bandai Namco already confirmed that the upcoming addition to the world of "Tekken" will let the players join new tournaments and even create one for themselves. The tournament can accommodate up to eight players.
Tournament organizers are also allowed to choose different settings such as the option to have the tournament secured with password protect, or to decide whether the elimination type is single or double.
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is still in the works and is slated to be released in the first half of 2017. The title will be out for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC. More details are soon to come so be sure to tune in.
