Gamers around the world believe that the recent trailer hints at the "Tekken 7" storyline, which has been rumored for a long time. The cutscenes apparently gave clues to the game's storyline aside from the impressive graphical content and cinematic effects.

"Tekken 7" is expected to feature an addicting gameplay, which continues the legacy of the "Tekken" franchise. Avid players know that the franchise has a signature pattern before their characters engage in a battle, particularly on how they would converse a little before starting a fight.

It is rumored that "Tekken 7" will apply a different approach as sources claim that the upcoming title will feature overarching narratives of characters. This means, the game is not entirely concentrated on battles; each character has a story to tell, aside from personal details such as age, health and others.

Fans expect that "Tekken 7" will focus on the story of the Heihachi–Kazuya conflict and the Mishima family. A new character will be introduced in the scene as well and this is speculated to be Claudio Serafino, known as the leader of a clandestine exorcist group, the Archers of Sirius. As such, "Tekken 7" may most likely be focusing on the investigation of Serafino regarding the exorcist group and why Mishimi Zaibatsu is interested to know more about the group, according to iDigital Times.

In an interview with GameSpot, "Tekken 7" producer Katsuhiro Harada and game designer Michael Murray spoke about the game's differences from other fighting games.

"A lot of the other 2D fighters are using 3D game models and graphics, but to actually have 3D coordinates and be able to move into the background and foreground in a way that changes the gameplay is something that sets Tekken apart quite a bit from other games," they said.

"Tekken 7" is expected to come out in early 2017.
