Telltale's 'Game of Thrones' Release Date Out In February 2015: Second Episode Featuring Jon Snow
After releasing the first episode of its "Game of Thrones" game series last December, Telltale announced recently that it will bring out the second episode this February.
The second will follow up on the events in the first and will be titled "The Lost Lords." It will see the action shifting to the Wall where one character will meet Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington.
As for the details of the second episode, Telltale announced that it will be released for eight platforms. On Feb. 3, "The Lost Lords" will first come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Mac. On Feb. 4, it will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. Finally on Feb. 5 it will be released for devices running Android and iOS.
In the second episode, players will be able to control five characters and make decisions for each that will affect their fate and those of others. As with the first episode, most of the plot will focus on House Forrester and the fate of its members in Kings Landing and at the Wall.
With House Forrester being barely mentioned in the "A Song Of Ice and Fire" book series, fans of the game will be treated to an entirely new storyline with their favorite characters from the TV show, notably Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister.
Tyrion, voiced by Peter Dinklage, will be returning for the second episode along with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer). Another major addition to the cast is Harington, who is shown speaking with Gareth Tuttle, a character from the first episode who has travelled to the wall and is preparing to take the black.
After the first episode was released, Entertainment Weekly reported that in addition to Harington, Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the TV show, will eventually voice her character in the game.
