Production for the fourth season of "The 100" will reportedly end in January next year. Hence, many suspect the upcoming season to premiere in the summer of 2017. Though Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is expected to focus on survival in the upcoming season, the character might just find love along the way.

According to reports, fans are still hoping for Alexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) to rise from the dead, after having been killed by Titus in the previous season. Following her death, Clarke was thrust to fend for herself and face the seemingly never-ending problems in the world. Alexa's death has led several to believe that Clarke will not have time to focus on her love life in the upcoming season.

On the other hand, showrunner Jason Rothenberg reportedly teased fans, suggesting that Clarke might fall in love despite being tasked with saving everyone from impending doom. Although the showrunner didn't confirm that the love interest will be introduced in season four of "The 100," fans are still crossing their fingers.

Aside from Rothenberg, other crew members have been teasing the upcoming season on various social media platforms. Twitter user @InsideThe100 has teased several set photos for the upcoming season. So far, the user has shared a bunch of photos of the actors in their costumes and with their props. Co-executive producer of "The 100" Aaron Ginsburg teased a photo of a blood-drenched knife on the pavement. He also shared a photo of one of the biggest and "most intense" episode in the series so far.

Although Ginsburg couldn't tell the fans the details of the scene, he posted, "Happy Halloween! I've just landed in rainy Vancouver to work on one of our biggest, most insane S4 episodes to date. Can't tell you more about it, but it's going to be memorable. In honor of my return, here's a bonus Halloween #100Hiatus pic... Our dedicated, patient, and resilient background artists rehearsing in Polis.. in a downpour..."
