'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Will Bellamy and Octavia reconcile? Is Bellamy-Clarke romance likely?
"The 100" season 4 may have a lot in store for the character Bellamy Blake, played by actor Bob Morley.
When asked about what he was expecting from the upcoming season, Morley indicated that he wanted to have Bellamy's relationship with his sibling, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), patched up. He also mentioned there might be a potential romance with Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor).
While reconciliation may be what the siblings need, it may prove a tough goal in the coming season, which reportedly will show a nastier and darker Octavia.
Avgeropoulos said, "Next season, you're going to see Octavia take a lot of really dark turns and uncover some really nasty layers."
Besides the dark mood expected to go over Octavia, there is the fact of what Bellamy did in season 3 which led to the death of the former's lover, Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). Bellamy chose to side with Pike (Michael Beach) whose course of action claimed the life of Lincoln.
One could say, though, that there may be a small chance for the siblings to reconcile, as the two were seen to unite in order to defeat the villain they all faced. Still, Octavia had not been able to stop herself from killing Pike thereafter. So the question remains whether Bellamy and Octavia can find it in each other to forgive and re-forge the bonds of family that were broken.
Morley is enthusiastic about this happening, though, saying, "Marie and I would like their relationship to get past just Bellamy saying 'You can't do this,' and Octavia being like, 'I can!'"
Coming back to the rumored romance between Bellamy and Clarke that fans are talking about, it is believed that the impending nuclear disaster that their post-apocalyptic world Arkadia faces and the ensuing fight for survival expected to happen, the pair may grow close enough to spark some romance. However, with Morley reserving comment on this topic, it may prove to be more of a hopeful speculation.
Clarke herself will have to deal with the death of a loved one, Lexa, in the next season. It may not be the best time for a love interest to crop up.
Without anything being confirmed it is hard to tell though what can really happen. Between now and the expected premiere of "The 100" season 4 in 2017, many things may soon come to light in terms of love and reconciliation storylines of the show.
