'The Affair' season 3 spoilers: Helen still hopes for romance with Noah?
It appears that after everything that's happened moving into "The Affair" season 3, Helen (Maura Tierney) is not over with Noah (Dominic West) just yet. However, her former husband is done with her.
The next season of "The Affair" will see Noah in a new relationship with a woman by the name Juliette Le Galle, to be played by French actress Irène Jacob.
"The Affair" season 3 will see the two hit it off. In fact, Juliette will help Noah through the trauma he is dealing with and ultimately be at peace with himself.
As perfect as that sounds, things will start to complicate as Juliette continues to keep dark secrets about herself and her identity. What these will be all about, it will certainly affect what they have going.
Noah will be in prison for Scotty's (Colin Donnell) death come "The Affair" season 3. While everybody thinks he is a monster, Helen, who had a hand in the murder the same way Cole (Joshua Jackson) and Alison (Ruth Wilson), does her best to convince people that it was just a mistake that Noah committed.
As Tierney revealed to Vanity Fair, "The Affair" season 3 will see these characters deal with the fallout of tragedy, which they will do so very differently from one another.
"All of the [characters are] kind of dealing with the consequences once again of their actions in the previous season. Everybody [killed Scotty], not just Helen. Because Alison pushed him and Cole wouldn't let them be apart. Everybody played a role. Noah wouldn't drive—so we all did it. It's not only Helen's fault," Tierney explained.
For creator Sarah Treem, "The Affair" season 3 will attempt to provide an answer to the question often the characters ask themselves: "What is love?"
"Is love a product of time and place and circumstance? Or is love something true that can't be undone. This season we kind of tried to answer those questions," she continued.
"The Affair" season 3 will premiere on Nov. 20, Sunday, at 10 p.m. EST on Showtime.
