'The Bachelor' season 21 contestants news 2016: Daniel Maguire says he will be better fit than frontrunner Luke Pell
ABC is yet to announce the leading man for "The Bachelor" season 21, but reports agree that it will be war veteran Luke Pell, who was a definite fan-favorite from "The Bachelorette" season 12.
However, his co-star Daniel Maguire says that although he is a great guy, the "typical Bachelor dude" and "everyone seems to love him," it should not be him.
"It's like, come on, you might as well put the TV on mute because it's going to be boring, to be honest. I'd rather watch Chad [Johnson] be the Bachelor than Luke," Maguire said in a recent conference call via E! Online.
He added that with the notorious "Bad Chad" at the driver's seat of The Bachelor" season 21, at least it will be "entertaining and real."
Maguire also believes that he himself will make a good lead in "The Bachelor" season 21 better than Pell and he won't think twice should he be approached to do it.
"100 percent I'd become the Bachelor if I was asked, that is if I'm still single after this season, because I think I'm the most realistic regular guy out there," Maguire said.
"I think I'd make a great Bachelor... people want real, people want entertaining, people want me," the male model from Vancouver continued.
Maguire was eliminated by JoJo Fletcher from "The Bachelorette" season 12 in fourth week of the competition. The 31-year-old takes pride in his honesty and speaking his mind rather than falling in love immediately as how "fake" guys do.
Maguire also thinks that "The Bachelor" season 21 needs a "real dude" and someone more "realistic" like him. "I think I'd made a great Bachelor and I think I'm a great catch as well," he stated
The reality star is currently on "Bachelor in Paradise." If he finds romance there, of course, he won't be in the running for "The Bachelor" season 21.
