'The Big Bang Theory' season 10, episode 11 spoilers: Howard and Bernadette welcome their baby as Amy celebrates her birthday
The next episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, "The Birthday Synchronicity," will be a big one as the gang will add a new one to the family.
Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will finally welcome their child to the world in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 11.
Speaking to Variety about the little one's arrival, showrunner Steve Molaro said, "We view (the baby) as another opportunity to grow our universe and find more stories that allow these characters to grow."
He pointed out that although Howard and Bernadette will be officially parents, this new chapter in their life will not so much be "a giant DNA-changing event" for "The Big Bang Theory."
"We're still going to have Ladies Night. All the things we love about the show can keep happening, in addition to baby stories when we want do them," he went on to say.
For the big day, "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 11 will bring in "Better Things" star Pamela Adlon, who will be there in place of Howard's mother played by the late Carol Ann Susi.
Howard will honor her during this milestone and the show honors the actress by bringing in a friend of her, who is Adlon.
Meanwhile, making for the hilarity of the episode is that the Wolowitz child will arrive in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 11 the same day as Amy's (Mayim Bialik) birthday.
This is why when she and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) try to celebrate by having coitus, they are always interrupted by news about Bernadette's labor.
As news come and go about the status of the delivery, Amy and Sheldon will find it very difficult for them to have some alone time.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 11, "The Birthday Synchronicity," airs Thursday, Dec. 15, on CBS.
