'The Big Bang Theory' season 10B spoilers: Amy and Sheldon come back home after a terrible holiday trip to Texas

While Halley Wolowitz definitely stole the show in "The Big Bang Theory's" midseason finale, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) were still able to get back their thunder after the new baby was born. With the two finally getting the hang of living together after an obviously rocky start, spoilers for the rest of the installment only promise good things for the couple.

When the hit sitcom returns next month via "The Holiday Summation," Amy and Sheldon have reportedly just come back from their holiday trip to Texas and hence will go meet up with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco). Although the vacation did not go smoothly as planned, the fact that the couple are still together is a sign that they have both matured in their relationship. And moving together could be one of the incidents inciting it. It can be remembered that during the first stages of their cohabitation experiment, both of them could not tolerate each other's quirks in the bathroom with Sheldon even threatening Amy with a breakup.

Now, the socially awkward lovers appear to be in a better position with showrunner Steve Molaro sharing that the progression of their relationship is actually visible in their living space, which happens to be Penny's old flat.

"If you look carefully, some of Sheldon's things are quietly migrating from [his and Leonard's old apartment] into what was Penny's apartment," Molaro told Michael Ausiello of TVLine for his TV show spoilers roundup. However, he was quick to add that despite these changes, fans should not expect a huge renovation in the sets of "The Big Bang Theory."

"Those three sets [plus Leonard and Sheldon's apartment as well as the building staircase] are baked into the DNA of the show, so I'd like to not make drastic changes there," he reiterated.

Meanwhile, the comeback episode also features Sheldon's mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf) whom viewers can presume was with her son and his girlfriend during the holidays. What is interesting is how the Parsons' matriarch will change the dynamics between the couple.
