'The Bold and the Beautiful' Spoilers, News: Twists And Turns Ahead Of Hope's Exit From The Show

What's up for "The Bold and the Beautiful" (B & B) this week? Most of the buzz about the long-running soap seems to be centered on what takes place during and after the trip to Amsterdam; the news that Hope (Kim Matula) will drop out as one of the major characters of B & B; and hints that a crazy mother-in-law (Quinn, as played by Rena Soffer) may be the cause of Hope's departure from the show.

Still, there's quite a difference between real life issues and onscreen realities. Quinn as a plot device to explain Hope's eventual going away looks interesting, until one considers that it's more of a stop-gap measure to explain the sudden absence-to-be of one of the most prominent members of the cast. It is actually Kim Matula's quitting in real life that has probably sparked all the new complications being attached to the character of Hope.

Still, for the week of Nov. 10 to 14, Hope continues to play a vital role in the B & B world. She gets jealous of Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and Liam's (Scott Clifton) apparent closeness during the Amsterdam photoshoot. She is taken aback when she discovers that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) had actually been encouraging the closeness between Ivy and Liam.

Then, Liam and Hope accidentally meet. Whatever emotions they still have for each other turn into a raw challenge for both.

With all these twists and turns, it's a good thing that B & B is not just all about Hope. This week's spoilers also feature Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) coming to the defense of Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) when Rick (Jacob Young) becomes abusive towards her. For all that, Caroline still asks Rick to give their marriage another chance.

B & B continues to live up to its name, getting bolder and more beautiful with each passing week.
