Ubisoft Massive has just announced the Public Test Server of "The Division," which is set to go live in a couple of hours. The patch notes explore many areas in the new Dark Zone, plus more events and leaderboard changes.

Players of "The Division" have already heard about the major changes of the Dark Zone as it was already promised that the DZ experience or money will not be lost anymore when players get killed — just as long as they stay in a Rogue state. "The Division" 1.6 patch notes also makes it possible to travel faster from and to a specific DZ checkpoint.

"With Updates 1.4 and 1.5, we redefined our end-game and brought a much-needed layer of fun to gear progression and character building," posted Ubisoft on their forum. "While a lot of progress has been made, there are still many things that need to be addressed in order to bring the rest of the game to the same level of fun; this is where Update 1.6 comes in!"

PC Players can experience the changes in just a few hours, specifically at 3:00 a.m. PT, but the exact time can still be changed. Bad news though, "The Last Stand" DLC will not be able to have the PTS, though Ubisoft promises to have it at a "later date."

The PTS can only be available for the PC players. Players from other platforms should not fret as Ubisoft announced to be "working very hard" to make PTS be available to all players.

"The Division" 1.6 patch notes also include several combat changes like the addition of time in order to revive a team from 3 to 5. Furthermore, medkits can now be utilized to cleanse the players' character and its cooldown period has been increased to 15 seconds from 12 seconds.
