'The Elder Scrolls 6' release date rumors and news: 'TES 6' to arrive anytime soon; Bethesda has 2 new big projects?
The sixth installment of the "The Elder Scrolls" series has been one of the hottest upcoming game titles that are rumored to come out this year or early 2017. In an interview with Kotaku during a YouTube Live at E3, Todd Howard, chief game creator of Bethesda, confirms the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6."
During the interview, Howard was asked if the company is already working on the sixth installment and his swift answers confirm the rumors.
"That's kind of like the elephant in the room always when we talk about anything. And I think it's good in these moments to tell our fans, 'Yes, of course, we are. It's something we love.' But it is–you know, I have to be careful what I say–it's a very long way off," Howard said.
However, the chief game creator game creator hinted that its development may take a while, which is not what people are expecting.
"I could sit here and explain the game to you, and you would say, 'That sounds like you don't even have the technology–how long is that going to take?' And so is something that is going to take a lot of time what we have in mind for that game."
Nonetheless, the confirmation coming from Howard gave so much hope for the millions of "The Elder Scrolls" fans all across the world. There have been speculations suggesting that the upcoming installment will be the last of the highly popular series.
Meanwhile, Howard also revealed that the company is currently working on two big projects that are expected to come out before "The Elder Scrolls 6."
As of the moment, Bethesda is set to release the special edition of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." The new version of the open world action role-playing video game will be available on Oct. 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. According to reports, the Special Edition is said to come with a much better graphics compared to the original game.
