Barry Allen, also known as The Flash (Grant Gustin), may have his hands full with Savitar, but the God of Speed won't be the only threat he has to deal with when The CW's hit superhero drama "The Flash" returns.

Several new villains will soon make their way into Central City, and one of them has been recently revealed. A new photo of season 3's upcoming big bad Jared Morillo, also known as Plunder, has surfaced online, hinting that he'll bring some serious firepower with him when he faces Flash.

Played by Canadian film and TV actor Stephen Huszar, Plunder appears to be armed and dangerous. The DC villain is popular for being an expert marksman and his affinity for theft, hence his name. Plunder is affiliated with The Rogues in the original comics, and it is speculated that he'll have a story arc similar to Shade. Earlier this season, Shade was introduced, but he ended up being just a plot device to open new plot twists.

The upcoming midseason premiere is titled "Borrowing Problems From The Future," and it will see Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes) head to the future to try and prevent Iris' impending death and hopefully put an end to Savitar's reign of terror. Plunder is also set to make his official debut on this episode. As fans can recall, the career criminal made a brief appearance in the last episode where Savitar pushes a blade through Iris' (Candice Patton) chest. He was seen during a news report about the villain named Plunder.

Reports say that early glimpses at the show's midseason premiere have suggested that Plunder will wreak havoc in Central City and steal everything that he can. It is believed that his arrival will force Barry to take a break from his quest to take down Savitar in an effort to stop the notorious criminal.

The third season of "The Flash" returns on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
