Barry (Grant Gustin) and the rest of the team travel to Gorilla City and meet Grodd on the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 3.

Titled "Attack on Gorilla City," next week's episode will see the arrival of a new villain. According to the official synopsis, Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) lets the team know that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted. Determined to rescue him, Barry, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes), and Julian (Tom Felton) travel to Earth-2 on a mission to save Harry from the dangerous Gorilla City.

While making their way into the forest, Barry and Team Flash are immediately captured and introduced to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). Grodd asks for their help to stop Gorilla City's leader Solovar from his evil plan of taking over Earth-1. Back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) must deal with a meta-human terrorizing the city while H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) assist them from S.T.A.R. Labs.

The latest episode saw Barry entrusting Wally, also known as Kid Flash, with one of the team's most important missions yet: saving Iris (Candice Patton) from being killed by Savitar in a future timeline. While it's a big role for Wally who's new to the superhero game, he is more than willing to do whatever it takes in order to protect his sister from any harm.

Lonsdale recently spoke with TV Guide about the upcoming episode and he teased that there will be romantic scenes featuring Wally and Jesse. "Where we left off last time, they were in a good place, but now also we have to deal with the fact that Wally has powers. And last time they connected, Jesse was the one with powers. So it's going to bring up different dynamics and it will be interesting for fans to watch," he shared.

The third season of "The Flash" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
