'The Flash' season 3 episode 14 spoilers: Team Flash tries to stop Grodd from destroying Central City

The two-part battle with Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) comes to an end on the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 3.

Titled "Attack on Central City," next week's episode will see the team try to stop Grodd once and for all. According to the official synopsis, the battle between good and evil continues when Grodd brings his army of gorillas to Earth-1. The Flash (Grant Gustin) and his team must find a way to stop them before they completely destroy Central City. Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) reveals she wants to be with Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) on Earth-1, while Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) returns to join the fight against Grodd.

Episode 14 is part of the two-hour special featuring the fight between Grodd and the Flash. In tonight's hour, viewers will be taken inside Gorilla City where they will see how Grodd has fared since being under the rule of the Flash's ally, Solovar (voiced by Keith David). After the team escapes Gorilla City, the match will conclude on Earth-1.

Aside from introducing Grodd, the team's Gorilla City trip will open up possibilities for some interesting dual Wells moments. Cast member Carlos Valdes spoke with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the two-hour special, and he shared teasers on an upcoming Wells-centric episode.

"There's an episode coming up that has a lot of Harry-HR interplay, and it's not just entertaining for the audience, but it's also entertaining for me to watch Tom Cavanagh play two different characters, literally shoulder to shoulder with me, and me having to play with both of these figures," the actor said. "It's one of those moments where you have to step back, not just as an actor, but also as a character, and say, 'This is weird, right? This is weird,'" he went on to say.

The third season of "The Flash" airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
